Here more carriers steam through recovering aircraft as they land and are stopped by their arresting gear wires. The first aircraft to land is a COD (Carrier Onboard Delivery). COD aircraft were propeller-driven aircraft that were basically trucks used to haul personnel, supplies, mail, etc from and to nearby airports. They were big and slow. Then there is some footage of the escorting Destroyers in the Battle Group and the last shot shows an F4 Phantom landing on the Carrier.
