This Website is Dedicated to the USS Lipan ATF 85, a Fleet Tug of the U.S. Navy, later transferred to the Military Sealift Command and then to the Coast Guard as USCGC Lipan WMEC 85.  It is hoped this site will attract past crewmembers, all sailors  (especially those who sailed in all types of Salvage Vessels), and the general public interested in Naval Ships.

 It is further hoped that former shipmates from all eras will contact me, Richard P.
